ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
First Community would like to welcome Lori Walls as our Director of Youth Choirs (K-8).
Lori is starting her 23rd year teaching elementary music for Olentangy Local Schools. She earned her undergraduate degree in music education from OSU with specialties in instrumental, choral, and general music. Her master's degree is also in music education from Capital University, along with a Kodaly certification in elementary music. Most recently, Lori earned a master's degree in school counseling for grades K - 12. Lori has a total of 13 years' experience with directing church youth choirs, previously at Linworth and Bexley United Methodist Churches. Lori lives in Dublin with her husband Todd and has two fur babies (cats) Freya and Piper. She is so excited to meet and get to know the wonderful children and families here at First Community.

Funding for the Youth Choirs
Funding for the Youth Choirs is provided by your family’s donation at the time that you register your child, congregational pledges to the general operating fund of the church and by gifts designated to the Youth Choirs. Most of our equipment has been provided for us by grants from First Community Foundation. Thank you for your family’s support.
