As a vision of First Community Church, we embrace our mission of creating a sacred space to explore the mind-body-spirit connection and inter-spiritual practices for the healing of the soul and the world. We nurture vibrant and varied paths for life-long human development. Our revered leader, Dr. Roy Burkhart, was a champion of this vision who introduced cutting-edge teachers and spiritual exploration to our community as early as the 1940’s. We honor his work and our long-standing psychological-spiritual tradition in naming The Burkhart Center.

  • We welcome people from all traditions, and from no tradition, to discern new paths to Loving Presence through innovative programs, practices, conversations, and community.
