Our mission is to support and enhance the connection our elder members have with their church, with others, and with God. We provide for older adults of our congregation who seek personal pastoral care, monthly spiritual direction, and support in considering later life living arrangements. We visit those in care centers, help older members and their families to connect with community resources, and assist with Services of Memory.
A celebration in November when we honor our church members of 40 years or more. Older Adult Council plans and hosts the reunion reception that follows the 10 am service.
This special luncheon is held each spring to honor the “Sweethearts“ of the church. This is a name given by Roy Burkhart to the women of the church aged 70+

Older Adult Council
Meet the 2nd Thursday of the Month This council supports the mission of the Older Adult Ministry, striving to provide fellowship and hospitality to the older members of our community.
