Changing Actions to Change Habits (CATCH) Court was established by Judge Paul M. Herbert in the Franklin County Municipal Courts. On Thursday afternoons, you can volunteer with Freedom a la Carte to serve lunch before CATCH Court at the courthouse. Farmer’s Market

The Farmer’s Market is held at the North Campus annually in August. All proceeds go to support Heart to Heart. You can become involved by donating, purchasing or volunteering at the sale. Read more>>

Friends of the Homeless

This organization was founded in January 1983 to provide a wide range of services, including housing, to help homeless adults and families move from dependency to self-sufficiency. Groups coordinate and serve meals on Monday nights at the shelter. Read more>>

Garage Sale

This sale uses over 300 volunteers annually and is the biggest fundraiser we have to support the mission work we all love. The more we raise, the more we can support the programs inside and outside the church walls! Read more>>

Habitat for Humanity

First Community Church is a member of the Adopt-a-House regional Northwest Partnership of Habitat for Humanity MidOhio.This partnership comes together to fund and build a house annually. You can participate by making donations or through the multiple volunteer opportunities the organization provides. Read more about our involvement with this organization>>

Heart to Heart Food Pantry

Heart to Heart is an outreach ministry of First Community Church located on our South Campus in the annex building. Sign up to volunteer at the food pantry to stock shelves, help customers or do direct retail pick ups. Read more>>

Mat Makers

This group turns grocery bags into crocheted waterproof mats to be given to the homeless. There are several stages in assembling the mats, so it is not necessary to be able to crochet. Refugee Task Force

Since 1983 the Refugee Task has assisted refugee families with their transition into life in Ohio and has evolved into a partnership with other community agencies who serve refugees. This is a ministry of action, where the needs change as lives change. It is also an opportunity to meet new people, learn about a different culture, and create lasting friendships. Read more>>

Share and Learn Gardens

A group of volunteers plants, tends and harvests the garden on the grounds of the Mary Evans playground at North Campus.  Harvested produce is donated to Heart to Heart food pantry and sold annually at the Farmer’s Market to benefit the food pantry. Read more>>
