Spiritual Guidance
New Ministry
Traditional Methods
The Spiritual Guidance Ministry draws upon historical practices developed in the early church: silent reflection, active listening and prayer, to feed the hunger for a meaningful relationship with God.
The Ministry provides three options for experiencing God together:
- Small Group Spiritual Guidance: Loving witness and affirmation Four people meet once a month with a trained facilitator/guide. A guided process of conversation, silence, and prayer helps deepen spirituality and the experience of God.
- Individual Meetings with a Spiritual Director: Loving listening and counsel Meet as often as desired with a trained director. Establish a prayerful relationship in which one person helps another notice God’s work in daily experiences – all of them.
- Spiritual Practices Workshops: Loving adventure and exploration Periodic offerings by trained facilitators. Explore a variety of spiritual practices from many spiritual disciplines.
