Second – Third Grade
Life applications involve exploring the wonders of the world, problem solving, and how to promote a life of love and positive relationships with others. Children are encouraged to think, ask questions, and begin to explore faith in their daily lives.
Helping children struggle through life’s many questions introduces the concept of the mysteries of faith. Using Jesus as a model for their behavior, children are encouraged to be kind and compassionate as they make choices throughout their daily lives. The classroom activities reinforce:
God loves us all, no matter what. When we make choices in our lives, we can choose to be kind, to ask for help, and to be forgiving.
Biblical stories and stories from other spiritual traditions, which exemplify forgiveness, conquering fears, compassion, and loving others are explored.
Church is a warm, welcoming, and inclusive place to be.
Sunday School Registration
Registering your child for Sunday School is important! The form provides us with emergency contact information and allergies among other important information.
Volunteer for Sunday School
We rely on volunteers to supplement our K-5 Sunday morning leadership team. Two people are needed in each room. Every attempt is made to put a new volunteer with an experienced teacher. The lesson and materials are all provided, and the rooms are all set up. No experience or special skills are needed. Please click the logo below to sign up.
