K-12 Administrative Coordinator

A part-time administrative position (20 hours/week) awaits the individual with a desire to work with the enriching programs of the K-5, Youth and Youth Choirs departments. This position will be a member of the North Campus administrative team, supporting the administrative functions for these ministries.

Primary responsibilities for this position include providing administrative support for programs and activities in K-5, Middle School, High School and Youth Choirs. This individual will also acquire a general knowledge of all North Campus programs to provide backup assistance for other members of the administrative team, as needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and manage online registrations, and the related databases, for events and activities associated with K-12 education programs and the North Campus Youth Choirs. Provide appropriate reports and data for these activities, as required.
  • Manage financial deposits and invoice payments associated with all K-12 activities and registrations.
  • Assist with webpage content on the church’s website for these departments, as required.
  • Participate in K-12 department meetings, as requested. Meet with the Youth Choirs Director to keep up-to-date with department needs.
  • Complete other projects, as requested by the Director of North Campus Administration & Camp Akita Operations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communications. Strong interpersonal skills.

Camp Akita Administrative Coordinator

The North Campus administrative team is looking for an individual with a passion for Camp Akita, to fill a full-time opening (35 hours/week) supporting the administrative functions for this ministry.

Primary responsibilities for this position include providing administrative support for all Camp Akita programs that are coordinated at North Campus. These programs include all summer camps, outdoor education programs throughout the year, and functions and activities associated with Akita Council fundraising activities. This individual will also acquire a general knowledge of all North Campus programs to provide backup assistance for other members of the administrative team, as needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist with Camp Akita administrative support, including but not limited to: maintenance of camp registration databases; camper family communications; resolution of camper payment issues; and other information requests from camper families and/or staff members.
  • Develop and manage online registrations, and the related databases, for events and activities associated with Camp Akita outdoor education programs. Provide appropriate reports and data for these activities, as required.
  • Assist with Camp Akita check-ins and returns at the North Campus.
  • Work with members of the Camp Akita team to enhance and develop the continuing Camp Akita ministry outside the walls of First Community Church.
  • Complete other projects, as requested by the Director of North Campus Administration & Camp Akita Operations.

Substitute Teachers

The Mary Evans Child Development Center is looking for part time teachers.  You will decide which hours work with your schedule.  You will work in a classroom with a team of two other full-time teachers.  This high-quality child care center is a wonderful environment for teachers and children.
